About
Get involved and meet new people
Whether you want to share common interests or hobbies, voice ideas, engage in debates or be a bit of a social butterfly, clubs are a great way to get involved and meet new people.
Through the Clubs & Societies Council, your student association, the MSA, supports, funds and resources clubs on campus to encourage students to be active, involved and enthused. So make your mark on student life!
Joining a club or society during your time at university will not only help you make new friends and make your time studying at university more enjoyable, but it can also help to develop both life and vocational skills, which can help with your future employment. Being involved with a club helps develop skills in leadership, networking, communication and public speaking, and event and financial management.
There are several ways to join a club or society, or you can start your own! For general information about each club, the 2009 Monash Club Guide is the best place to start.
