2. Functions @ Sir John's

Sir John's Bar is available for function hire. This can range from a few quiet drinks to a 21st or any other party you can think of. With a wide range of services including stage, P/A for bands, or speeches, catering, open air balcony, TV and sound system are also available.

Sir John's Bar is available for hire at any time of the year (excluding 24 Dec – 2nd Jan ). The Bar can be hired out for any private function and can cater for any needs. Our bar is licensed to hold eighty people, however if more space is needed we can book the Airport lounge (adjacent to Sir John's). The airport lounge can fit another 100 people and also contains another stage, which can also be used.

Room hire for Sir John's bar is $200, and there is an extra $170 charge for the airport Lounge. This inclusive of staffing, however security costs may be added, depending on the type of function.

Catering is also available from Sir John's, and there are 3 packages to choose from:

Basic: $4 per Head
The basic catering service is comprised of fried chips served with tomato sauce, and wedges served with sweet chilli sauce and Sour cream. These dishes will be served constantly through out the night.

Delux: $7 per Head
The deluxe catering service includes chips served with tomato sauce, and Wedges served with sweet chilli sauce and sour cream, and a choice of two out of Spring rolls served with sweet chilli sauce, Dim sims served with soy sauce or Vegetable Samosa served with sweet chilli sauce.

Premium: $10 per Head
The Premium catering service includes Wedges served with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce, Calamari rings served with tartare sauce, Dim Sims served with soy sauce and Crumbed Prawns served with Tartare Sauce.

There is also a wide range of cheese and fruit and sandwich platters available on demand.
