The Wom*n's Officer and Collective advocate, promote and address the specific needs of Wom*n students on campus through campaigns, debates, discussion groups, workshops, activities and their annual publication Dissent. The Wom*n's Officer is also there to provide support, advocacy and a referral service for wom*n faced with discrimination, harassment or other related issues.

Thursday March the 8th,
Wom*n (trans inclusive) only and all wom*n welcome (staff included of course!!!) 
7pm in wholefoods, with performers (including a belly dancer!!)

$8 with community card and $10 without

3. Wom*n Under Threat From VSU
Campus wom*n's departments, are unfortunately often among the first to be subjected to budget cuts and/or dissolved in the the 'restructuring' of the student organisations as a result of the reduced income. The net result of this is that wom*n's departments have a dramatically reduced ability to raise awareness of, and campaign around highly important wom*n's issues that have a real and tangible impact on the everyday lives of wom*n students at Australian Universities.
